The NSTC Humanities Division is now accepting applications for the 2026 "Excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences Research Program." The relevant details are as follows:

1. This program invites proposals for both individual and single integrated projects, with a strong encouragement for principal investigators to form interdisciplinary research teams. For single integrated projects, the main project and subprojects should be consolidated into one application submitted by the principal investigator of the main project.

2. Research project applications must comply with the guidelines outlined in the NSTC’s Procedures for Funding Thematic Research Projects. Applicants should submit their proposals and upload the necessary documents online via the NSTC Academic Research Service Portal under the section: Thematic Research Projects – "Excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences Research Program."

3. Applications will undergo a rigorous review process in accordance with established procedures, and funding will be awarded to the most outstanding proposals. Appeals for unsuccessful applications will not be entertained.

4. The call for proposals is published on the NSTC website (http://www.nstc.gov.tw).

5. The deadline for submission at Yuntech is February 4th, 2026.
