The NSTC hereby announces the open call for applications for the 115th Annual "Advanced Crystal Materials Development and Fabrication Program," with submissions accepted from this day forward. Relevant details are as follows:

1. This program shall be conducted in accordance with the NSTC’s guidelines for subsidized research projects. Principal investigators are required to thoroughly review the program’s call for proposals prior to application.

2. The program solicitation is divided into four categories:

(1) Materials Service Program, aimed at establishing or maintaining critical core facilities, technologies, research, and service laboratories essential for the growth of advanced crystals, quantum materials, single crystals, and epitaxial layers, with the goal of developing key functional materials or pivotal crystal growth technologies;

(2) Academic Research Program, focused on scholarly investigations related to crystal materials produced under the Materials Service Program;

(3) Applied Research Program, dedicated to the development of application-oriented research based on crystal materials yielded by the Materials Service Program;

(4) Excellence Research Cluster Program, designed to integrate the preceding three categories, centering on key crystal growth technologies and harmonizing academic and applied research efforts.

3. Applicants are requested to submit their proposals via the NSTC Academic Research Service Portal by selecting "Online Application/On-Demand Review Projects" under the category "General-Oriented Research Projects," and to choose the corresponding academic discipline code as specified in the call for proposals.
