The NSTC 115th Year "Artificial Intelligence Empowered Accelerated Drug Development Program" is now open for applications. Relevant information is as follows:

1. This program centers on AI, integrating cross-disciplinary and cross-industry resources to promote innovative applications in drug development, while enhancing the domestic academic and research teams' autonomous development capabilities of AI-driven drug development tools. Principal investigators are advised to carefully review the program’s call for proposals. Key application notes are summarized below:

(1) This program constitutes a single integrated research project. Approved projects will be counted within the NSTC’s research project quota.

(2) The project execution period is anticipated from June 1st, 2026 to May 31st, 2030 (subject to annual approval).

(3) For project category, please select "Special Topic - Rolling Review Projects"; for project type, select "General Strategic Project" and research type "Integrated"; for project affiliation, select "Office of Research and Development" with discipline code "B90 - Special Project" and sub-discipline code "B90D004 - AI-Driven Drug Development"; alternatively, select "Office of Research and Development" with discipline code "E98 - Special Project" and sub-discipline code "E9882 - AI Empowered Accelerated Drug Development Program - AI Software".

2. Appeals for projects not granted funding under this program will not be accepted.
