1. This program is conducted in accordance with the Council’s guidelines for subsidized research projects. Principal investigators are strongly advised to thoroughly review the program announcement and all related attachments prior to application.

2. All applications must be submitted online. Please ensure that all forms are completed via the Council’s website (https://www.nstc.gov.tw) by accessing the "Academic Research Service Network." Select the project category: "Project Type – Rolling Review Projects | General Strategic Projects"; for research type, choose "Integrated Project"; for project affiliation, select "Office of Research and Development"; for discipline code, check "E98 – Special Project" (E9881 Key Technology Research and Development Program for Smart Healthcare) and the corresponding sub-discipline codes such as "E988101 Home Care," "E988102 Home Hospitalization," "E988103 AI Software Assistance and Data Analysis," and "E988104 Health and Lifestyle Assessment." Complete the application accordingly.

3. Appeals for projects not granted funding under this program will not be entertained.

4. The internal submission deadline is February 23th, 2026.
