The NSTC hereby announces the open call for applications to the subprojects of the Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, and Mathematics divisions under the "Natural Sciences and Sustainable Research Promotion Center Business Plan," effective immediately. The pertinent details are as follows:

1. Applicants are requested to submit their proposals via the online application system in accordance with the NSTC’s Guidelines for Subsidized Research Projects. For further information regarding the call’s focus, application procedures, and related instructions, please refer to the announcement (attached herewith and also available on the NSTC website at http://www.nstc.gov.tw).

2. This initiative constitutes a special project; successful proposals will be incorporated into the "Natural Sciences and Sustainable Research Promotion Center Business Plan" and executed in an integrated manner. Appeals against unsuccessful reviews will not be entertained.

3. An explanatory briefing session for the call is scheduled for May 13th, 2026 (Wednesday) at 3:00 PM in the 12th Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the NSTC. Interested participants are requested to register by May 6th, 2026 (Wednesday) via https://forms.gle/7TXAgJC7h1UjeDPo9.

4. The internal submission deadline is June 25th, 2026 (Thursday) at 11:59 PM.
