Library Winter Vacation Operating Hours for the Year 2026

1. From January 12th (Monday) to February 22nd (Sunday), the winter vacation operating hours are as follows:

Monday through Friday: 09:00 to 17:00

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the Lunar New Year period (February 14th to February 22nd).

2. The Audiovisual Resource Center on the eighth floor

Monday through Friday: 09:00 to 12:0013:00 to 17:00

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the Lunar New Year period (February 14th to February 22nd).

3. The Yixitang Self-Study Area will be closed during the winter vacation; however, the Self-Learning Reading Room remains open 24 hours daily, except during the Lunar New Year period from February 16th to February 20th.

4. The University History Museum

Monday through Friday: 09:00 to 16:00; closed on weekends and during the Lunar New Year period (February 14th to February 22nd).

5. The Arts Center

Monday through Friday: 09:00 to 17:00; closed on weekends and during the Lunar New Year period (February 14th to February 22nd).

6. In response to energy conservation and carbon reduction efforts, the second, fourth, and sixth floors of the main building will be temporarily closed during the winter vacation.

7. Should you have reserved books arriving during the winter vacation but are unable to personally collect them, please cancel the reservation via your personal reader account to avoid penalties or suspension of reservation privileges.

8. For books due during the winter vacation, faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate volunteers may return them by February 26th (Thursday); undergraduates and self-issued cardholders must return them by March 5th (Thursday). This extension excludes children's books and popular reserved titles. For self-issued cardholders whose card expiration precedes the unified due date, the return date shall adhere to the card's validity period.

9. Normal operating hours will resume on February 23rd (Monday).
