Project Highlights | In order to promote domestic academic development and academic cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries, the National Science Council signed a scientific cooperation agreement with the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) on March 1, 1996 to jointly subsidize the Taiwan-Slovakia (NSTC-SAS) bilateral agreement international cooperation project (hereinafter referred to as this project). This project is handled in an "expanded value-added" manner, and will proactively increase the international cooperation hosting fee. Our host must develop the project in the manner described in this application notice. This Taiwan-Slovakia cooperative research project requires the project leaders from both Taiwan and Slovakia to jointly discuss the topic and jointly propose a cooperation plan, which will be submitted to this association and the Slovak Academy of Sciences for review. If either party fails to receive the application, the cooperation project cannot be established. |
||
Eligibility | 1. Taiwan project leaders must meet the following qualifications: (1) They must be project leaders who are currently implementing a research project funded by the Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the original project) and whose original project implementation period has not yet expired on the deadline for submission of applications. The so-called original plan does not include planning promotion projects, industry-university cooperation projects, agency projects and international cooperative research projects under bilateral (multilateral) agreements. (2) If a project leader is implementing a major policy-based project of the Council and is no longer able to implement other subsidy projects of the Council, he or she may still submit an application for this program to ensure that the application for a bilateral agreement cooperation project is successful. 2. The qualifications of the Sri Lankan project host will be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of SAS. |
