  The France-Taiwan Scientific Grand Prize is jointly awarded each year by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council and France’s Académie des Sciences. It aims to recognize outstanding contributions by researchers from both countries to bilateral scientific cooperation. Awardees are expected to promote scientific exchange between Taiwan and France, which may include organizing conferences and symposia.

• Eligibility: Research teams must be jointly formed by scholars from Taiwan and France. Taiwanese applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for NSTC research project applications.
