Call for Papers

• Background: The 2026 International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT) and the International Forum on Medical Imaging in Asia (IFMIA) are jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology and National Cheng Kung University. Since its inception in 1998, IWAIT has been an annual international academic event dedicated to gathering researchers, professors, students, and professionals from the field of image technology to exchange the latest research and applications in advanced imaging technologies. The organizing committee comprises scholars from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and other countries. The symposium has been hosted in East and Southeast Asian countries including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, boasting significant international participation and academic influence. IFMIA, held biennially since 2007, provides a professional platform for academic researchers, biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians across Asia to share innovative technologies and the latest advancements in medical imaging, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and regional academic development. We warmly invite esteemed professors to actively submit their manuscripts and jointly promote international exchange and advancement in the fields of imaging technology and artificial intelligence in our country.
