This workshop features Assistant Professor Peng Ruizhi from the General Education Center at National Chung Hsing University, who will graciously share her insights on EMI multicultural student classroom management and teacher English-medium instruction competency training. The session will showcase Professor Peng’s practical teaching experiences, extending to her participation in both international and domestic in-person training sessions of the University of Adelaide’s "Teacher English-Medium Instruction Competency Training."

【Background】

Assistant Professor Peng has facilitated numerous workshops for EMI teaching assistants and faculty at the EMI Teaching Resource Center of National Chung Hsing University, and has participated in the 113-1 University of Adelaide’s "Teacher English-Medium Instruction Competency Training" both abroad and domestically.

Embracing an open and shared mindset towards information dissemination, she fosters collaborative learning with neighboring institutions, enabling cross-institutional faculty to mutually learn from and share EMI course experiences. We cordially invite you to join us in sharing resources and teaching materials, exchanging professional expertise, experiences, and exemplary practices, thereby dismantling departmental barriers and invigorating faculty professional development.
