We earnestly seek one full-time faculty member within the establishment.
I. This recruitment is conducted in accordance with the University Act, Teachers’ Act, Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, Employment Regulations for Professional Technicians Teaching at Universities, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology’s Regulations for Appointment and Promotion of Full-Time Faculty, and the University’s Guidelines for Recognizing Industry Experience of Faculty Members, among other pertinent statutes.
II. Faculty Requirements and Academic Expertise:
1. Qualifications: Possession of a doctoral degree or certification as an Assistant Professor or above.
2. Academic Specializations: Expertise in swarm robotics, industrial robotics, visual mapping and localization, or related fields.
III. Basic Application Requirements:
1. Ability to conduct courses in English.
2. Possession of a doctoral degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (or certification as an Assistant Professor or above). For foreign degrees, applicants must provide authenticated copies of diplomas and transcripts verified by Taiwan’s overseas representative offices.
3. At least one year of relevant industry experience related to the teaching field is required (applicants must submit proof of such experience; however, full-time certified teachers employed before the enactment of the Technical and Vocational Education Act are exempt).

- Completed Application Form and Declaration for New Full-Time Faculty (attached or downloadable from the Personnel Office’s form download section).
- Copies of Academic Credentials (For highest degree obtained abroad, please provide diplomas and transcripts authenticated by Taiwan’s overseas representative offices, along with entry and exit records issued by the Ministry of the Interior’s National Immigration Agency):
(1) Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree certificates;
(2) Transcripts for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral studies. - Copies of Personal Employment Records: Appointment letters, service certificates from previous institutions, and relevant licenses or certifications related to the teaching field.
- Proof of Industry Experience: Documentation of at least one year of practical work experience related to the teaching domain. (Exemption applies to full-time certified teachers employed before the enactment of the Technical and Vocational Education Act.)
- Copy of Assistant Professor or higher teaching certification.
- Copy of Identification Documents.
- Abstract of Doctoral Dissertation or Representative Publications (please attach 2 to 3 representative works).
- List of Relevant Publications, Works, and Research Projects Led or Participated in within the Past Five Years.
- Proof of English Proficiency.
- Handwritten Autobiography.
- Course Information of Relevant Classes Taught in the Past Two Years (if applicable, please specify course titles).
- Brief Description of Subjects Eligible to Teach and Course Outlines (including both required and elective courses).
- Teaching Materials and Reference Resources.
- Introduction to Areas of Expertise.
- Two Letters of Recommendation from Professors.

VI. Admission, Registration, and Employment Matters:
1. Successful candidates will be notified in writing and must report within the stipulated period, presenting relevant documents and submitting a recent health examination report from a public hospital (including a chest X-ray clearance). Failure to report on time without justifiable cause, or failure of current employees to submit proof of resignation from their previous institution, will be deemed as forfeiture of the appointment. Vacancies will be filled by alternates in order of ranking, limited to the number of positions available.
2. Candidates diagnosed with statutory or other infectious diseases that impede teaching, failure to submit health reports within the deadline, or those who fall under disqualifications stipulated in Article 14, Paragraph 1 of the Teachers’ Act and Articles 31 and 33 of the Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, will have their appointments revoked.
VII. Incentives for Newly Appointed Outstanding Faculty:
1. Newly appointed full-time faculty within the establishment who meet the qualifications outlined in the University’s Incentive Guidelines for Newly Appointed Outstanding Faculty, upon recommendation by the tertiary-level faculty evaluation committee and approval by the Incentive Review Committee, and subsequent ratification by the President, may receive additional monthly remuneration as a reward.
