1. Position: One non-regular full-time faculty member specializing in industry-academia collaboration.
2. Expertise: Specialization in intelligent manufacturing and digital automation.

- Proven ability to teach practical courses.
- Possession of a doctoral degree recognized by the Ministry of Education or certification as Assistant Professor or above issued by the Ministry of Education.
- At least one year of relevant industry experience related to the teaching field (applicants must provide proof of such experience; however, full-time qualified teachers employed prior to January 14th, 2015, when the Technical and Vocational Education Act was promulgated, are exempt).
4. In addition to the documents required by the department, please submit the following materials in order:
- Yuntech’s “Personal Data Form for Non-Regular Full-Time Faculty Applicants” (attached in the brochure).
- Declaration letter (attached in the brochure).
- Copies of academic and professional certificates; for highest degrees obtained abroad, verification by Taiwan’s overseas offices, degree certificates, transcripts, and entry-exit records issued by the National Immigration Agency are required.
- Copy of identification card.
- Proof of industry experience: according to Yuntech’s “Criteria for Recognizing Faculty Industry Experience,” submit relevant certificates, proof of employment or resignation, and labor insurance records (minimum one year required; teaching, tutoring, and part-time experiences are excluded).
- For applicants without a teacher certificate, please also provide copies of transcripts for the highest degree obtained.
- Handwritten autobiography (if typed, please sign by hand on the printed copy).
- Two letters of recommendation from professors.
- Research proposal.
- For highest degrees obtained abroad, submit the “Summary of Faculty Qualification Review for Foreign Degrees at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology” (attached in the brochure).
- List of major publications and portfolio.
- Introduction to areas of expertise.
- Course syllabi for potential courses to be taught.
- Teaching materials and reference resources.

7. Appointment and Employment Procedures:
Successful candidates are expected to commence employment on August 1st, 2026. Should the candidate lack a teacher certificate and thus be unable to complete the appointment process in time, the appointment will be deferred to February 1st, 2027 (appointments are made on a one-academic-year basis).
The university will notify successful candidates in writing to report for employment within the specified period, presenting relevant documents and submitting a recent health examination report from a public hospital (including a chest X-ray clearance certificate). Failure to report without justifiable cause or failure of current employees to submit proof of resignation from their previous institution will be deemed as forfeiture of the appointment. Vacancies will be filled by alternates in order of ranking, limited to the number of positions available.
Candidates diagnosed with statutory or other infectious diseases that impede teaching, failure to submit health examination reports within the deadline, or those who fall under the disqualifications stipulated in Article 14, Paragraph 1 of the Teachers’ Act and Articles 31 and 33 of the Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, will have their appointment revoked.

Any matters not covered in this announcement shall be governed by the University Act, Teachers’ Act, Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, Principles for Employing Non-Regular Full-Time Faculty in Junior Colleges and Above, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology’s Management Guidelines for Employing Non-Regular Full-Time Faculty with University Funds, and Yuntech’s Criteria for Recognizing Faculty Industry Experience, as well as other relevant laws and regulations.
