National Yunlin University of Science and Technology Industrial Technology Continuing Education Bachelor’s Degree Program Earnestly Seeks a Non-Establishment Full-Time Teaching Staff Member

1. Position: One non-establishment "Industry-Academia" full-time teacher.

2. Expertise: Specialization in intelligent manufacturing and digital automation or related fields.

  1. Expertise in intelligent manufacturing and digital automation or related disciplines.
  2. Possesses the capability to teach practical courses.
  3. Holds a doctoral degree recognized by the Ministry of Education or possesses a certificate of Assistant Professor or above issued by the Ministry of Education.
  4. Must have at least one year of industry-related practical work experience in the teaching field. (Relevant proof of work experience must be submitted; however, full-time qualified teachers employed before January 14th, 2015, when the Technical and Vocational Education Act was promulgated and implemented, are exempt.)

3. In addition to the documents required by the department, please submit the following materials in order:

  1. Yuntech’s “Personal Data Form for Non-Establishment Full-Time Teaching Staff Application” (attached in the brochure).
  2. Declaration letter (attached in the brochure).
  3. Copies of academic and professional certificates; (For highest degrees obtained abroad, verification by Taiwan’s overseas offices of degree certificates and transcripts is required, along with an entry-exit record issued by the National Immigration Agency.)
  4. Copy of identification documents.
  5. Proof of industry experience: Submit relevant certifications in accordance with Yuntech’s “Criteria for Recognizing Industry Practical Work Experience of Teachers,” including resignation or employment certificates and labor insurance enrollment proof (minimum one year required; teaching, tutoring, and part-time experiences are excluded).
  6. For applicants without a teacher certificate, please also provide a copy of the transcript of the highest academic qualification.
  7. Handwritten autobiography (if typed, please sign by hand on the printed copy).
  8. Two letters of recommendation from professors.
  9. Research proposal.
  10. For highest degrees obtained abroad, please attach the “Summary Table of Teacher Qualification Review for Foreign Degrees at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology” (attached in the brochure).
  11. List of major publications and portfolio.
  12. Introduction to areas of expertise.
  13. Course syllabi for potential courses to be taught.
  14. Teaching materials and reference resources.

5. Additional Information

Commencement Date: August 1st, 2026 (Appointment contingent upon successful external thesis review; failure to pass will result in non-appointment.)

6. Appointment and Reporting Procedures:

The successful candidate is expected to commence employment on August 1st, 2026. Should the candidate lack a teacher certificate and thus be unable to complete the appointment process in time, the appointment will be deferred to February 1st, 2027 (appointments are made on an annual basis).

Yuntech will notify the successful candidate in writing to report for appointment within the stipulated period, presenting relevant documents and submitting a recent health examination report from a public hospital (including a certificate of passing chest X-ray). Failure to report on time without justifiable cause, or failure of current employees to submit proof of resignation from their previous institution, will be deemed as forfeiture of the appointment. Vacancies will be filled by alternates in order of ranking, limited to the number of vacancies.

Candidates afflicted with legally designated or other infectious diseases that impede teaching, failure to submit health examination reports within the deadline, or those who fall under the disqualifications stipulated in Article 14, Paragraph 1 of the Teachers’ Act and Articles 31 and 33 of the Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, shall have their appointment revoked.

7. Any matters not covered in this announcement shall be handled in accordance with the University Act, Teachers’ Act, Act Governing the Appointment of Educators, Implementation Principles for Employing Non-Establishment Full-Time Teaching Staff in Junior Colleges and Above, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology’s Management Guidelines for Employing Non-Establishment Full-Time Teaching Staff with School Funds, and the Criteria for Recognizing Industry Practical Work Experience of Teachers at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology.
