The NSTC 2025 "Artificial Intelligence-Driven Drug Development Pilot Program" is now accepting applications. The relevant information is as follows:

1. Principal investigators are kindly requested to thoroughly review the program solicitation announcement (see attachment). Key application guidelines are summarized below:

(1) Applicant institutions must be recipients of NSTC research project funding, with each institution permitted to submit no more than one application.

(2) This program will be implemented as a single integrated project. Recommended and funded projects will be counted within NSTC’s planned project quota. No planning fees will be allocated to the principal investigator or co-principal investigators within the project budget.

(3) The project execution period is anticipated to span from September 1st, 2025 to June 30th, 2026 (10 months).

(4) Please select "Project Category - Rolling Review Project" for the project type; for project classification, choose "General Strategic Project"; for research type, select "Integrated"; for project affiliation, select "Office of Life Sciences"; for discipline code, select "B90 - Special Project"; and for sub-discipline code, select "B90D004 - Artificial Intelligence".

(5) The project content format must adhere to the CM03 and CM04 forms found under the "Attachments" section at the bottom of the solicitation webpage. The CM03 form content should not exceed 50 pages.

2. Appeals for projects not funded under this program will not be accepted.

3. The internal submission deadline is July 2nd, 2025.
