1. The National Science and Technology Council is pleased to announce the commencement of registration for the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge Global Competition, open until June 30th, 2025. Innovators are encouraged to harness AI chips, AI algorithms, and high-speed transmission technologies to develop advanced application solutions in the following categories or to achieve groundbreaking innovations in core technologies: AI Core Technologies and Chips, Smart Mobility, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Medtech, and Sustainability. We sincerely invite your esteemed organization and relevant international collaborative research institutions to participate.
2. This competition welcomes startups, corporations, academic and research institutions, as well as individuals eager to collaborate with Taiwan’s semiconductor chip design and manufacturing industries to jointly develop innovative applications. Each winning team will be awarded cash prizes for implementation, opportunities to showcase at exhibitions, access to the IC Startup Acceleration Platform’s industry network, and support for chip development in Taiwan.
