The NSTC is pleased to announce that applications for the 115th Annual "Ethnic Studies and Indigenous Peoples Research Program" are now open. Relevant details are as follows:

1. This program accepts both individual research projects and integrated research projects, encouraging interdisciplinary and cross-thematic studies. Please refrain from submitting a single integrated project proposal.

2. Research project applications must comply with the guidelines outlined in the Council’s Operational Procedures for Sponsored Research Projects. During the application process, please select "General-Oriented Special Research Project" under the project category, and choose the discipline codes "HZZ02 Indigenous Peoples Research" or "HZZ09 Ethnic Studies."

3. Applications will undergo a review process in accordance with established procedures, and funding will be awarded based on merit. Incomplete or non-compliant submissions will not be accepted. Appeals for unsuccessful applications will not be entertained.

4. The deadline for submission is August 1st, 2025.
