he National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) hereby announces an open call for proposals for the 115th Year "Core Computing Resources Project," with applications being accepted from this day forward. Relevant details are as follows:

1. To enhance scientific research computing resources, the NSTC’s Office of Research and Development is soliciting proposals for the aforementioned project. It is recommended that institutional computer information centers or equivalent units serve as the foundational integration base. Principal investigators are required to thoroughly review the project solicitation announcement prior to application.

2. Applications should be submitted through the NSTC’s online system under "Research Project Proposals/(Concept Proposal Category) Core Computing Resources." Proposals that pass the review and receive recommendation will prompt notification to principal investigators to submit detailed project plans. The project execution period is anticipated to commence on May 1st, 2026, subject to the official approval date by the NSTC.

3. The evaluation criteria for this project include:

(1) Equipment Aspect: High-performance computing facilities, storage and backup solutions, network architecture.

(2) Software Aspect: Cybersecurity management, application software licensing and maintenance, connectivity and access services.

(3) User Aspect: User service strategy plans, integration of user hardware procurement.

(4) Resource Aspect: Concrete planning of institutional cooperation measures.

(5) Operational Aspect: Fee mechanisms and pricing strategies, sustainability plans, and related considerations.
