【Counseling Center】Midterm exams are approaching; how have you been lately?

Dear students, greetings to you:

As the midterm examinations draw near,how have you been recently?

With exams, reports, and assignments arriving in quick succession, has the rhythm of your life become increasingly hectic?

Perhaps you are engrossed in preparing for exams, rushing to complete reports, or striving to balance academics, extracurricular activities, part-time work, and daily life.

At times, pressure may stem not only from academic demands but also from interpersonal relationships, family expectations, or uncertainties about the future.

Feeling anxious, exhausted, or distressed when facing these challenges is a perfectly understandable response.

While it is important to diligently accomplish your current tasks, do not forget to attend to your mental and physical well-being.

If you find yourself persistently fatigued, struggling with sleep, unable to concentrate, or harboring concerns you do not know whom to share with,

consider granting yourself a moment of respite, or try confiding in someone you trust.

If you need someone to help you sort through your emotions or discuss your troubles, the Counseling Center is always here for you.

You do not need to face severe problems to seek counseling;

whether it is academic stress, emotional difficulties, interpersonal relationships, romantic issues, career confusion, or simply feeling weary and wanting someone to talk to, you are warmly encouraged to utilize the counseling resources available.

In addition to the Counseling Center, each college has professional counselors and consultation spaces, allowing students to receive support within familiar academic environments.

midterm exams represent merely a phase in your academic journey and should not define your entire self-worth based on a single test performance.

Amidst the busyness, remember to nourish yourself properly, rest adequately, and permit yourself the occasional pause. When stress exceeds your capacity to cope, seeking assistance is also a form of self-care.

May you continue to advance with determination while tending to your well-being.

Wishing everyone success in the midterms and a safe, healthy passage through this bustling period!
