Announcement 2026 Academic Year Returning Graduate Student Dormitory Accommodation Application Procedures.
In accordance with the Student Dormitory Management Guidelines
1. Application Period and Method:
From April 20, 2026 (Monday) until May 1, 2026 (Friday) 23:00, please apply online via Yuntech SSO → Office of Student Affairs Information System → Accommodation → Student Dormitory Application System → Online Accommodation Application. Late submissions will not be accepted.
By April 28, 2026 (Tuesday), students eligible for exemption from the lottery must submit the exemption application form along with relevant supporting documents and register online; failure to do so will be deemed a waiver of the exemption qualification. (Exemptions include low-income households, students with disabilities, and those with unexpired contracts from the second semester of 2025 applying for replacement.)
On May 5, 2026 (Tuesday), the list of admitted students and instructions for replacement applications will be announced.
Admitted students must submit two signed copies of the contract by May 8, 2026 (Friday); failure to comply will be regarded as forfeiture of the bed, and replacements will be arranged. (Contracts may be mailed; postmark date will be considered.)
The replacement list will be published on the Student Assistance Division website on May 15, 2026 (Friday).
On May 26, 2026 (Tuesday), the allocation of returning student dormitory beds for the 2026 academic year will be announced.
2. Eligibility:
Both doctoral and master's students at Yuntech are eligible to apply. Applicants with prior dormitory withdrawal records are ineligible, except those who have taken leave or returned from exchange programs.
3. Bed Allocation: 80 beds for male students and 80 beds for female students, all air-conditioned rooms with two occupants per room.
4. Accommodation Fees:
(1) Dormitory G Building: NT$11,413 per person per semester.
(2) Dormitory D2 Building: NT$11,388 per person per semester.
(3) Academic Year Deposit: NT$1,800 (collected during the first semester).
(4) Applications and payment methods for accommodation during winter and summer vacations will be announced separately.
5. Except for beds designated for students with disabilities, all dormitory beds are elevated bunk beds in air-conditioned double rooms. Students whose physical or mental conditions are unsuitable for dormitory living are advised not to apply.
6. Prior to submitting an application, applicants must thoroughly review the dormitory regulations and contract terms, especially those concerning withdrawal procedures. Submission of an application constitutes agreement to abide by all dormitory rules and management policies.
7. The contract and related dormitory regulations are available on the Office of Student Affairs website for download.
8. Dormitory accommodation is granted for one academic year. Given the limited number of graduate student beds, applicants are urged to carefully consider the necessity of residing in the dormitory to avoid affecting others’ opportunities.
9. Admitted students wishing to arrange their own roommates must submit their request by May 22, 2026 (Friday). Those who do not apply will have roommates assigned by the administration. (Those who do not apply will be assigned to their original bed.)
10. After submitting the contract, if a student needs to withdraw due to personal reasons or graduation, they must complete the Bed Forfeiture Declaration Form and follow the withdrawal procedures outlined in Article 14 of the Student Dormitory Management Guidelines.
11. Students who have secured a dormitory bed but do not complete a full year’s residence (the contract is for one year, with fees paid by semester) will be subject to a penalty fee of NT$1,800, as detailed in the Dormitory Management Guidelines.
12. Please note that unsuccessful applicants are not eligible to apply for accommodation throughout the entire summer vacation; the maximum extension allowed is until the end of July, after which they must vacate.
13. For any inquiries, please contact Ms. Huang Liting, Clerk at the Student Assistance Division Student Dormitory Service Center, extension 3795 or at 05-5524091.
